Concrete Cutting and Selective Demolition

Description

Biggest Challenge
Providing selective concrete cutting within the downtown Naples hospital required not only expert planning and coordination, but also an exceptional level of focus from every Wildcat team member. The central storage and distribution hub for medical oxygen was located just feet from our work area.

While separating and removing thousands of pounds of concrete, the crew maintained the highest level of control and precision—understanding that any blade driven too deep into the slab, or any uncontrolled dust in the work zone, could pose a serious risk to hospital operations and the patients who rely on the O₂ yard remaining fully functional.

The End Result

By staying true to our approach, Wildcat successfully navigated one of the most sensitive phases of the project – working within feet of the hospital’s O₂ yard without disrupting critical operations. Through scanning for underground utilities, calculated coordination of crane picks for concrete removal, and an execution style that treated every cut like a surgical procedure, the team maintained complete control from start to finish.

Every decision was intentional. Every move was measured. The result: a seamless operation that prioritized safety, protected vital infrastructure, and kept the hospital fully operational without compromise.
